Osman brings deeptech, entrepreneurial and investor experience built over more than three decades as a technologist, founder and venture partner.
Osman has founded and led businesses on both sides of the Atlantic, including 3Dlabs, the NASDAQ-listed graphics chip company that helped pioneer the GPU, as well as cloud and software companies in the UK and US. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in around $500m of equity and licence transactions, including three exits and an IPO, and is the inventor of 19 granted US patents in computing, GPUs and pixel streaming.
Alongside his role at Silverpeak, Osman is a Venture Partner at Atlantic Bridge Capital, focusing on investments in deeptech companies, and serves as President of the Deep Tech Summit in Europe. He also mentors a select group of technology start-ups in chairman or advisory roles. In 2012, Business Insider named him among the leading global technologists, and in 2016 he received the Freedom of the City of London for services to IT.
Osman holds a first-class degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
Outside of work, Osman is an accomplished musician, composer and producer, and continues to pursue music through his record label, Songphonic Records.
