Per Arne brings a strategic investor’s perspective shaped by three decades in software, technology, energy and private equity, supporting Silverpeak’s work with growth businesses and their shareholders.
Per Arne draws on extensive experience advising companies, funds and family offices on strategy, international expansion, technology, M&A, financing and growth. He has overseen more than 40 M&A and financing transactions and combines this with 10 years as a CEO and some 20 board and chair roles, giving him a broad view of value creation from both operational and investor standpoints.
Alongside his role at Silverpeak, Per Arne is Chair of Nysnø Climate Investments, the Norwegian state’s climate investment company, and Chair of the Board of 3LC.ai, an AI software platform for data scientists. He also chairs or sits on the boards of several other technology and innovation-led businesses in Europe and the US. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Partner, and later Operating Partner, at EV Private Equity, a technology-focused energy and impact investor, and was part of the founding team of private equity fund Progressus.
Per Arne holds an MSc in Finance and Strategy from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and an MSc in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He speaks fluent English and Norwegian, with working knowledge of German and Portuguese.
Outside of work, Per Arne enjoys skiing, running, travelling, design and architecture, as well as literature, music, film and time with family and friends.
