Axel blends commercial intuition with hands-on execution, supporting founders in articulating their company’s value and navigating complex transactions with confidence.
Axel is involved across all deal phases – from preparation and positioning through to negotiation and close – with a focus on fintech, martech, cryptocurrency, IT services, and marketplaces. Clients value his ability to quickly grasp the nuances of a business and articulate its strategic value to investors.
Before joining Silverpeak, Axel advised technology companies at Avolta Partners in Paris and worked as an M&A analyst at Natixis Partners in Belgium. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in management consulting at Innovity, transfer pricing at PwC, operations at Uber, and in business development at tech start-ups Overloop (sales tech) and Wooclap (edtech).
He holds a BSc in Economics & Management from UCLouvain and a joint MSc in Corporate Finance from UCLouvain and KU Leuven.
Beyond work, Axel is passionate about travel and sports – particularly American football – and enjoys discovering new cuisines. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends, often over good food. A Belgian national, Axel is a native French speaker with an understanding of Dutch.
