Tallat joined Silverpeak as a Director in 2023 and brings with him over 15 years’ experience in M&A, including venture capital expertise.
He has a real passion for technology and builds early relationships with founders to advise on fundraisings and exits, as well as advising investors on the buy-side. Tallat provides detailed insight and a pragmatic approach throughout.
Prior to joining Silverpeak, Tallat worked at Canaccord Genuity in their technology team advising founders of high-growth businesses on fundraisings and M&A. He has also spent time at EY, Grant Thornton, and an LDC-backed energy technology venture fund, in addition to having set up his own M&A advisory firm. Consequently, Tallat has specialist expertise of running effective deal processes to deliver shareholder ambitions, whilst having empathy for what founders are going through.
Tallat holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Loughborough University and has an MA in Management from Durham University.
Outside of work, Tallat enjoys hiking, tennis, squash, and spending time with his young family.
