A special recognition for Richard Holway MBE
The 2024 dinner marked a particularly memorable occasion with the retirement of Richard Holway MBE, widely regarded as the doyen of UK IT analysis over more than four decades. John O’Connell, founder and co-host of the Enterprise Awards, presented Richard with the unique Wise Old Owl Award in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the industry. Richard co-founded TechMarketView, the UK’s leading technology analyst firm, which co-hosted the dinner alongside John O’Connell. Tola Sargeant, Chief Executive of TechMarketView, also co-hosted the evening.
Supporting the WCIT Charitable Fund
Profits from the Enterprise Awards Dinner are donated to the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) Charitable Fund, which supports education, research and charitable initiatives across the technology profession. Attending the dinner therefore benefits both the sector’s entrepreneurs and the broader technology community.
