MSite acquired by Infobric

Silverpeak used its network of global contacts used to build interest leading to multiple offers from private equity firms and strategic acquirers

About our client

MSite provides workforce management SaaS and solutions to the construction industry, with an estimated 40% of the UK’s construction workforce enrolled on the company’s platform.

The company is pioneering a novel business model in the construction software sector, selling enterprise-wide multi-year licenses vs. the traditional site-by-site pay-as-you-go licenses that are most common.

Why they chose us

The shareholders appointed Silverpeak as their exclusive financial adviser to explore their options. Working closely with management, the team conducted a sophisticated and comprehensive preparation.

How we added value

Silverpeak designed the process, identified and pre-qualified potential buyers, negotiated the transaction and managed the process through to final completion, all within 4 months from going to market.

Leveraging a carefully crafted equity story, the Silverpeak team secured multiple attractive offers from both private equity funds and strategic acquirers and closed the preferred one.

The successful outcome

A competitive process with multiple offers that resulted in a sale to the Infobric Group (a portfolio company of Summa Equity). The acquisition unites the domestic market leadership of MSite and Infobric, in the UK and the Nordic region respectively, to create a pan-European digital leader serving the construction sector.

Silverpeak team

To an entrepreneur, first exposure to the world of Corporate Advisors is daunting and you naturally question the value of their service. Frankly speaking, we could not have done this without the expertise and hard work of the Silverpeak team. At first, they challenged us hard to get us ready for what was to come and they expertly took the transaction across the line.
